YVES Dressing table from Baxter Designed by Roberto Lazzeroni

Baxter Yves designed by Roberto Lazzeroni is a dressing table, a desk, a console. The idea behind Yves is to create a simple but multifunctional line, with small details the same piece of furniture takes on three different identities. The structure can be chosen in satin-finish brass-plated metal, hand-brushed burnished metal, or satin nickel-plated metal. The structure of the cabinet is in MDF completely covered in leather.
The dressing table is characterized by a flap top with an oval mirror, the internal structure of the compartments is in sheet metal covered in leather. The desk stands out for the drawers in India rosewood with a matt finish and small decorative details in metal. The console, instead, has only one lacquered drawer compartment.

 Mathieu is a contemporary desk characterised by a slender silhouette and graceful contours. The top, with a wood frame and leather insert, traces subtle curves that soften the strong lines of the painted metal structure. The optional accessories – the small drawer under the top and the mirror – are elegant and discreet, making it a perfect complement for bedroom spaces.

An armchair with a clear Brazilian twist in which the rationalist design of Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27 joins Minotti’s manufacturing know-how, bringing out the skilful and combined use of three different materials - leather, fabric and wood - for the seat, backrest and frame. Hence the name Trio.

This slender and aesthetically light, yet solid furnishing piece accommodates a sophisticated padded seat and backrest featuring exquisite craftsmanship, that meets the typical refinement of Brazilian cabinet-making in the multi-sectional woodwork of the frame.

The pleasant comfort of the seat and the tactile sensation provided by the polished armrests offer an evocative sensory experience, naturally echoed in the Trio Outdoor version designed for open-air spaces.

Distinguished by its elegant formal cubist shape, Shelley sports a linear geometry, enhanced by the presence of saddle hide and its accurate processing technique.

Its characteristic alluring saddle hide volume hosts cushions covered in fabric and opens at the front on the sides to reveal the inviting seat, while the rear part accommodates the body in a soft embrace. The saddle hide also serves to bind the legs together, wrapping itself round them and allowing the top part to emerge, ending in a fine decorative detail with Black Nickel finish.

The bearing frame reveals interesting shape solutions, such as the sloping front legs, slightly open at the sides or the tightness of the saddle hide at the base of the chair, which gradually loosens in an elegant tapering effect towards the exterior of the top part. Sartorial details, such as neat piping, define the edges of the cushions, with those of the backrest and armrest designed as three separate elements.

The compact design concept by GamFratesi, which plays on the harmonious contrasts between a structured external shell and a soft, inviting interior, enhanced by the texture of saddle hide and the fabrics used, has been flawlessly brought to life thanks to the design know-how and sophisticated tailoring techniques that have always been the distinguishing features of Minotti.
