A design chair by Patricia Urquiola with a soft, enveloping shape that offers contemporary comfort with a well-developed sense of environmental awareness. This small armchair, which strongly references 1970s design, is engineered to be completely disassembled for ease of disposal and recycling of the organic and premium materials, starting with the metal core. The padding in the legs and seat is in polyurethane foam with a percentage of polyols derived from organic sources, which contributes to making this piece of furniture an example of sustainable, environmentally aware design, as well as a masterpiece of comfort.

Flair O' Couture chair from B&B ITALIA design by Monica Armani .

Following the success of Flair 0’, a series of elegantly designed chairs available in indoor and outdoor versions, Monica Armani proposes Flair O’ Couture. Geometrically similar to the previous designs this new chair boasts a woven backrest made using a special circular loom(tombolo) in line with an ancient weaving technique typical of the area where B&B ltalia is located. To fine-tune it, Monica Armani collaborated with unPlZ20, a design studio based in Cantu, which specializes in the recovery and development of traditional weaving techniques revisited in a contemporary key and applied to the furnishing sector. The internal structure of the steel backrest is in fact completely enveloped by the weaving of polypropylene interlacing, available in four colours, and rests on a truncated cone-shaped foot with a lenticular base. Two padded cushions complete the chai, defining the shape and providing even more comfort, Flair 0' Couture is a functional and versatile vet technical and high-performance product.

Sengu Table from Cassina Design by Patricia Urquiola. Solid wood, marble and ceramic define this piece signed by Patricia Urquiola. Thanks to the layering of materials, its pronounced visual physicality lends the table a sophisticated yet simple monumental feel.

The oval and round table is characterised by a solid wood structure with an oval leg which is connected by one or two crosspieces to the two cylindrical legs. The top is in the same wood essence as the structure or combined with a cylindrical column of strong presence available in a selection of marbles and coloured ceramics.
